from Langkawi with LOVE

This trip to Pulau Langkawi is my first family outing since I got married last 2 years. Arghhhh…. and of course, with work stress creeping up on me lately…..I needed this break!!!! I guess, this is my honeymoon after all….ha..ha.ha…

Flying with AirAsia, earlier Abg Lan (my “biras”) sent us at KL Sentral on his way to work. There, we had a breakfast at McD (pronounce as Mekdi, hehehe..), then on board a Sky Bus to resume our journey to LCCT. (rasa teruja dan adventure ngan perjalanan camnie….)

Since this trip is a "Free-N-Easy" type thus there will be no tour groups or rushing around, we were able to tour freely and take pics.

Okie…. the journey

We arrived at Langkawi via Langkawi International Airport after an exciting 50 minutes flight from KL.

There are more agents along the way trying to coax me to rent their Wira, Iswara, Sentra, Cherry, etc etc. All at a “special rates”, kononnya laa!! We quickly went to a counter and asked for a car. We were offered an auto transmission Wira for RM50 / day with an alignment dah lari giler on the left side. On top of that, the air-cond not functioning very well!! Kejap panas, kejap sejuk. What the heckk!!

I drove the dumbass Wira “SUKOM” to the nearest Petronas station and filled RM50 worth of petrol for our 4 days 3 nights use in this island. By then, it was already 1pm and we haven’t had our lunch yet. We decided take lunch at the Kuah jetty after back from Idaman Suri.

Finally, we reached Twin Peak Island Resort, a 3-star resort located near to the Kuah town. Woahahha.. the rate is RM68 / night which is very cheap maaa. My thought is that the accommodation, is just for us to rest in the night comfortably. Well this resort fulfill very well. From mini fridge, swimming pool, buffet breakfast to TV. As well as to get a nice hot shower at the end of the day.

After checking into the hotel and unpacking our stuffs, we are ready to hit the road again for some action and window-shopping again at Idaman Suri (IS) and Haji Ismail Group (HIG).

Next, we drove to the Dataran Lang or Lang Square. One of the famous landmark in Langkawi, this particular square or attraction spot a big man-made eagle. We took some photographs and enjoyed the view before we headed for Jetty Point. Tak banyak choice pun…dah la mahal…

At the end of the day, we drop-by at pasar malam near Baron Hotel before headed for our dinner near Bella Vista Hotel.
